How is our wood processed?

We use a chemical fumigation process to protect the wood against insects, followed by a slow kiln-drying phase that can last several months to carefully control moisture levels according to industry standards. Only then is the wood ready to be crafted.

Once shaped into a finished piece, thanks to its natural strength, the wood requires minimal maintenance over time — just an occasional polish with a specific natural oil.

Some small cracks may appear even after the piece is finished; this is completely normal and in no way affects the product’s quality or durability.

For cleaning, we recommend using a soft cloth, avoiding chemical products.

Never use linseed oil, degreasers, abrasive cleaners, or chlorinated solvents, as these can clog and darken the wood. It’s best to clean the surface simply with a damp cloth and water.
